Here’s a nice article I spotted today in my RSS feeds that gives some insight into reCAPTCHA, the system I implemented here on the blog last week.

The only thing I worry about in this case is the spammers being able to figure out what is the control word actually used in the reCaptcha and what is the testing word since as I understand it, that word regardless of the answer will be “accepted”
Other than that I agree that I like the idea of harnessing that power to improve digitization projects.
